If the customers or visitors trust you enough, then they will definitely trust your recommendations. You must be very discrete when using this method.. If you start promoting everything by recommendation, your credibility will actually wear thin. This is seen especially when recommendations are seemingly exaggerated and without much merit.

Display prominent testimonials and endorsements from respected and known personalities, in related fields of course. Often the owner of a good product will offer a numer of “Affiliate Tools” designed to help the affiliate sell their product. And many will provide good testimonials for your use.

You must not hype-up a product avoid it  at all costs. It is better to sound low key and confident, than to scream and seek attention. Besides, you would not want to sound like a raving carnival flim-flam-man, it’s so unprofessional . You want to build your reputation online and  being remembered as a flim-flam-man will destroy all future efforts. I personally have unsubscribed to marketers that do so. I feel like they’re insulting my intellegence? It’s best to appear cool and self-assured when marketing with this method.

And remember, prospects are not stupid. They are actually turning to experts and may already know the things that you know. If you back up your claims with hard facts and data, they will gladly put down big bucks just because of your promotions. But if you don’t, they are smart enough to try and look at your competitors and what they are offering.

While recommending a product, it is also important that you give out promotional freebies where appropriate. Most people are familiar with the concept of a bonus being offered as an incentive. But not too many marketers do this to promote affiliate products. Try to offer freebies that can promote or even have some information about your products or services.

It is highly recommended that if you expect to make easy money online, then you need to research the product thoroughly, including the owners support. Do not run the risk of promoting junk products and services; you must know the product. Credibility is so important; if you spend valuable time ,effort and advertising dollars establishing a great reputation, then it only makes sense to maintain it through thoughtful and sincere evaluation. Most internet users are very savvy now a days and they will spot a phony recommendation a mile a way. So keep it real.

In most cases I’ll ask the owner for a promotional copy of his/her product for my evaluation. This way you will be able to give an accurate and sincere recommendation.
